The Senior Flyers are bringing a 102 year-old cup to the Canada Day party.
The 2010 National Senior ‘AAA’ champions will be bringing up the rear of the Canada Day parade, as they show off the spoils of their first-ever Allan Cup title.
After that, the team will be bringing the coveted trophy to Egan’s Pub. The evening starts at around 6:30 and will include live music from the band ‘Suspicious.’ The flyers will also be handing out awards, while MT Actions photography will be on hand so fans can get their pictures taken with the Allan Cup.
The Flyers won their first national championship in April, when they beat the Bentley Generals in the final of the 2010 Allan Cup.
