New Contract for Dawson Creek City Workers

City workers in Dawson Creek have a new three year contract, which carries a total wage increase of 7.5 percent.
They’ll get two percent this year, two and half percent next year and three percent in 2012.
The agreement, which expires on December 31st of 2012, also gives management more flexibility in scheduling aquatics employees.
The workers are represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
