Drug bust Sunday in Dawson Creek

Two people were arrested yesterday in connection with an early morning RCMP drug bust at a Dawson Creek residence.

In a search of the home police seized an undisclosed amount of a cocaine, cannabis and cash.

They say 21 year old Jess Hartnell was taken into custody at the scene and 22 year old Tony Leoppky was arrested a short time later in a local drinking establishment.

Both now free on bail, face drug possession and trafficking charges as well as those of posession of the proceeds of crime.

An 18 year old unidentified female, also arrested at the residence, on 116th avenue was released without being charged.
