Update – Power outage in Taylor

Update – Power was restored at 3:10pm Saturday, the cause is still under investigation.

BC Hydro is reporting a large power outage in Taylor.

The power went out at about 11:30am on Saturday and should be restored by 3pm.  At the moment 721 customers in Taylor and directly surrounding the community are without power.  When the lights first went out, the outage only affected 120 customers in Taylor.

Hydro does not have a cause for the outage at this time.
