A local woman is $25,000 ahead after winning second place in the Fort St. John Rotary Mega Lottery.
Connie Soychuk was presented with her cheque at a Rotary luncheon on Thursday afternoon. She won second place in the draw, and had the choice of a vehicle or the cash.
The annual fundraiser raked in more than $435,000 just short of the Rotary Club’s $500,000 goal.
