Calendars encourage healthy child development

A calendar is helping new parents understand the importance of their child’s early years.

More than 50,000 "Success By 6 Early Childhood Development” calendars are being distributed around the province.

Each calendar has tips for nurturing a young child’s development.

This is the second year that the calendars are being circulated in communities throughout B.C. The local North Peace Savings and Credit Union is partnering with Success by 6 to produce and distribute the calendars.

The goal is to ensure that these calendars reach families who could benefit the most from this resource.

Peace Region families can pick up a calendar at StrongStarts, Health Units, the Family Place, the Friendship Centre, the Child Development Centre, Child Care Resource & Referral, the library and the Literacy Society.
