Liquor Store Bear Fundraiser underway

Fort St. John’s government Liquor Distribution Branch is shooting for a 7th consecutive win in the province-wide, holiday season Twin Bear program.

It has a sales goal this year of 2,400 bears, and as of this morning there were 1,700 left.

This is the 20th year the local outlet has participated in the event and as usual for every bear sold, the LDB gives one for Christmas distribution to children, to local area charities.

In past years, hundreds of those who have purchased a bear, have donated it back to the LDB to be added to the disbribution total.
