Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Officers from the Fort St. John RCMP obtained an undisclosed amount of stolen copper on Friday.
That afternoon, the local detachment received a report of someone being in possession of stolen property.
Police say they arrested an unidentified suspect for ‘possession of property obtained by crime’ and break and enter charges.
Most of the undisclosed stolen property has been claimed by local companies.
But, there is still a large amount of copper that has yet to be claimed. Officers say they don’t know where the copper had been stolen from.
Anyone who can identify the copper, and can prove ownership, is asked to call the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140 or 250-787-8100.
