Starbucks owner set for cancer campaign
The local Starbucks owner will be breaking out her pink wig for a good cause.
On Saturday, Safeway will be holding a blitz to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Monica Temple says she’s helping out with this fundraiser, because she is a breast cancer survivor.
She says when she first heard that she had breast cancer, she was devastated.

That was two years ago. Now, she will be giving hope to other breast cancer survivors.
She says she will be fundraising from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and would like to meet other breast cancer survivors in the area.

Temple also says there will be chili and buns available throughout the day.
