View Vehicle Incident on Highway 29 in a larger map

**Update as of 11:40pm the road has been cleared and traffic is moving like normal.  The RCMP have released more information about the accident, click here for further details

At last report, the Fort St. John RCMP are on the scene of a what is being described as a vehicle incident on Highway 29.

The incident occurred early Saturday evening near Bear Flats on Highway 29.  At this point the highway is down to single lane alternating traffic.

At one point, North Peace Search and Rescue was called out to the scene to help search for a person that the RCMP believed was in the vehicle.  It’s unknown at this time if this person has been located.
