Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Chetwynd.
According to Environment Canada there is a risk of severe thunderstorms today that could include large hail and damaging winds. The forecast calls for a few showers or a thunderstorm beginning early this afternoon. At this time they say the wind could gust up to 50km/h and the storms should end by early this evening.
