This holiday season, all of our Supporters are entered to win an $800 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

The campfire ban has been lifted in all parts of the Prince-George Fire Centre.

Last week, the category 1 ban was lifted in parts of the region, while others still had the ban in place.

But, effective on Friday, the ban has been lifted everywhere in the fire centre. This rescinded ban applies to all B.C. parks, crown land and private land outside of organized areas, but within the Prince-George Fire Centre.

The fire danger has been lowered in all parts of the region, because of rainfall and cooler temperatures. However, officials are still warning the public to use caution when using campfires.

Category 2 and 3 fires remain banned in all parts of the fire centre.
