The Beaverlodge RCMP is looking for witnesses to an injury accident yesterday afternoon, on Highway 43 in the Alberta Peace.

Police say a car with three female occupants from the Grande Prairie area was stopped and waiting to make a left hand turn onto Range Road 91, when it was hit by a truck.

The collision occurred just after three o’clock, and all those hurt were treated at the scene and then taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Those involved in the crash were the 55 year old driver of the car, her eighteen and nineteen year old passengers and the 51 year old male driver of the truck.

The collision left the car overturned in the north bound ditch, and the truck flipped onto the driver’s side, blocking west bound lanes of the highway, which was closed for a short period of time.

Police are taking public information assistance calls, at the Beaverlodge RCMP detachment number 780-830-5734.
