A Fort St. John child is lucky to be alive after floating down the Peace River Sunday morning.

Sunday marked Demetrius’ 3rd birthday and the family continued to celebrate the extra special day at Peace Island Park. The RCMP would like to remind parents about the dangers posed by moving water and to be vigilant around children playing in or near the water.
