Canada Day Fireworks a go in Fort St. John

It looks the Canada Day Fireworks are a go tonight.

The Fireworks are scheduled to begin sometime between 10:30pm and 11pm. The fireworks will be fired off from the Tobbogan Hill behind NPSS. Some of the best viewing locations in town include the lots behind Sobey’s off of 93rd Ave and Centennial Park

The only way the display will be cancelled it is the weather. The worst thing for fireworks is the wind. If the wind starts gusting over 30k an hour the show will be cancelled, light rain will not affect the fire works display.  So far the forecast calls for an evening with light winds and a chance of a thunderstorm.
