Remains identified as those of Alysa Zatelny

The medical examiner has positively identified the remains found near Grande Prairie.

The dental records match those of Alysa Zatelny of Grande Prairie. She was last seen by a friend on June 11th. At this time the medical examiner has not determined how she died.

The remains of Alysa Zatelny were found in a wooded area near Grande Prairie. On Monday a Grande Prairie Judge stated the remains were those of Alysa, before the medical examiner had released his report.

Christopher Francis Podruzny, 21 and a 14 year old girl have been charged with causing indignity to a human body. Christopher Podruzny also faces 3 counds of breach of recognizance.
