More calls for BC Cell Phone Driving Ban

There are more calls for the BC government to introduce restrictions on cellphone use, while driving.

The BC Automobile Association wants restrictions, on new drivers, who are under the graduated licensing system.

That wouldn’t go as far, as the complete ban — even on hands-free devices — sought by the B-C Association of Police Chiefs.

However, Solicitor General Kash Heed, has promised to examine the issue thoroughly…and to make clear what direction he intends to go early next month.
