Members from the Ministry of Transportation were at the Peace River Regional District Meeting on Thursday.
District Manager Renee Mounteney and Richard Prill were on hand for a brief update on brushing and construction in the region.
Many Directors were wondering when roadside half-cut brush will be completely cut. Director Karen Anderson says the cut brush remains a hazard for both animals and humans. Mounteney reassured the District that workers are out in full force dealing with the issue.
She says the brush is cut in the winter, but the rest of it gets cleared when the snow melts.
