June proclaimed Cadet and instructor month

Fort St. John has named the month of June as Cadet Instructors Cadre Month.

Councilor Dan Davies threw on his Cadet Instructor hat to accept the proclamation from the City, saying the Fort St. John Cadre is one of the oldest corps in the Canadian Forces.

The national Cadet Instructor Cadre was officially established on May 1st, 1909.

Davies also accepted another proclamation from the city, stating June will also be named the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Month.
