Community Awards Deadline – Tuesday

Fort St. John’s annual Community Awards will happen on Thursday April 23rd and you only have until Tuesday to put in your nominations.

“The Awards play an important role in recognizing the efforts that many individuals and organizations have made over the past year.  Fort St John is rich with contributions from the community which gives rise to the vibrancy, health and economic well-being for all its citizens” said Mayor Lantz.
 

Some of the Awards categories include Athlete of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Business of the Year and Volunteer Organization of the Year.  In total, there are 27 Awards that will be handed out.  
The Gala event will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Pomeroy Hotel.   

Nomination forms are available at the City’s website, www.fortstjohn.ca or can be picked up at the North Peace Leisure Pool.
