Northern Health has named the company that will move ahead on construction of the new Fort St. John hospital. ISL Health was selected, to move into negotiations to design, build, finance, and maintain the new hospital project, being built on a 16 hectare site in the city’s east-end. It’s expected a project agreement will be in place this summer, including the final fixed cost of the project, which is estimated to cost around 268 million dollars. ISL Health is a consortium of B.C. based construction and architectural firms, that has been involved in other P-3 public-private partnerships with the government, including the Royal Jubilee’s Patient Care Centre, in the Victoria Capital Region.
