Monday afternoon 'sudden death' in FSJ

Fort St. John RCMP have confirmed the death of a resident yesterday afternoon.

Police surrounded a home on the 102nd block of 110th Avenue late in the afternoon, as they began the investigation into the death.

So far, they aren’t saying much, other than to say it’s being treated as a “Sudden Death”, and at this point, not suspicious.

The deceased’s identity has not been released.

The BC Coroners Office is now involved, though it says it’s too early to comment on the death.
