RCMP Issue Driving Advisory

As of 11am Sunday morning the RCMP have issued a warning to motorists planning on driving in the Fort St. John area.  Motorists are experiencing bad winter driving conditions including blowing snow and areas of black ice on the highways.  Visibility in approximately 2km in some areas.

Road conditions in Fort St. Johna are also classified as poor winter driving conditions and are extremely slippery due to freezing rain.

If you do have to drive, do so at slower speeds to accomodate poor driving conditions.
