With all the polls now reporting in the Prince George Peace River Riding it looks like voter turn out dropped from 2006.
In total 34,807 of 71,268 or 48.8% of registered electors turned out to vote this time compared to 37,526 of 70,345 or 53.3% in 2006. National voter turnout also dropped this year to 58.4% from 64% in 2006. This election had the lowest voter turn out in the history of the country.
Over all Jay Hill finished with 15,922 more votes than his closest competitor Betty Bekkering who had 6,138. In 2006 Jay Hill defeated his closest competitor by 16,035, that was Malcolm James Crockett who was running for the NDP. Here are the final results for Prince George Peace River
