Epscan to PowerComm

Fort St. John based Epscan Industries located a 100-12, 94th avenue, has reportedly been acquired, by an Alberta company, PowerComm Incorporated.

PowerComm’s President and CEO, Wayne Rutherford, says adding geographical representation in northeastern BC is, a large part of his companies planned growth strategy.

Epscan is an electrical and instrumentation contractor, which recently opened an office in Dawson Creek.

Company President Don Stirling says the firm will now be able to add valve servicing and, other PowerComm components to its list of oil patch services.

The purchase price will be paid with a combination of common shares and cash but, because the transaction is still conditional, complete terms have not been disclosed

Epscan is expected to generate in excess of 14 million dollars in revenue, in the coming year.
