Three-vehicle accident near highway line painting crews

The collision happened at approximately 2:35 p.m. Monday, in the 2000 block of the Alaska Highway.

Two north bound pick up trucks had stopped behind a highway line painting crew, when a third pick up did not notice they were stopped and ran into one of the trucks. That truck was then rammed into the one in front, in total causing extensive damage to two of the trucks.

However, none of the sole occupants of the trucks were sent to hospital.

Dawson Creek RCMP ask that drivers be extra vigilant and slow down in construction zones, flashing yellow lights, work crews and flagging crews on the highway.
