Fort St John Fire Department stops vehicle fire from spreading to house
Fort St. John firefighters were able to extinguish a car fire Thursday evening before it spread to a nearby house.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John firefighters were able to extinguish a car fire Thursday evening before it spread to a nearby house.
No one was injured in the blaze, said Deputy Fire Chief Matt Troiano.
The fire department responded just after 7 p.m. with eight crew members.
When they arrived on scene, they saw a vehicle with an engine compartment fire in the driveway approximately 20 feet from a house.
A video was anonymously shared in a local Facebook group shortly after it occurred.
Troiano says the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
