Local restaurant temporarily closed for ’emergency repairs’

The Mr. Mikes restaurant in Fort St. John is temporarily closed on June 10th for plumbing repairs.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual restaurant in Fort St. John is temporarily closed.

On June 10th, the restaurant announced via Facebook that the closure was due to “emergency repairs.” 

Athul Tense, Mr Mikes general manager, told Energeticcity.ca the repairs are for a water leak from a wall in the building.

“We are having a plumbing issue, so we are working on it,” said Tense.

Tense said a plumber will be coming to assess and fix the problem sometime today, June 10th. 

He expects the restaurant to reopen tomorrow.

The restaurant is located at 9324 Alaska Road North in Fort St. John.
