Vehicle incident closes Alaska Highway north of Fort Nelson

The Alaska Highway, Highway 97, is closed 50 kilometres north of Fort Nelson due to a car incident.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. —  A car incident has closed the Alaska Highway 50 kilometres north of Fort Nelson. 

According to DriveBC, a 35-kilometre stretch of Highway 97 is closed between Tofte Mainline and Recreation Road at kilometre 605 due to a vehicle incident. 

An update is scheduled to be released at 12 p.m. on March 3rd, following the completion of assessments.
