DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Argo Road Maintenance is mobilizing its crew, materials, and equipment as it monitors an “unpredictable” storm system making its way toward the South Peace.

According to Argo, the storm is expected to bring up to ten centimetres of mixed rain and snowfall to the region, from late Monday afternoon into mid-morning on Tuesday.

“We urge everyone to allocate sufficient time for travel and to monitor updates from Drive BC before embarking on their journeys,” a release from Argo reads.

“Additionally, please remain vigilant and adaptable while driving, especially considering the fluctuating road conditions.”

Argo urges drivers to reduce their speed, watch closely ahead for brake lights, and be ready to stop if necessary.

Motorists are also encouraged to ensure plows and graders have plenty of space to safely clear snow off the roads.
