Kari-Lea Charlesworth named new Hudson’s Hope councillor

Kari-Lea Charlesworth was named the new Hudson’s Hope councillor following the by-election on July 29th and the judicial recount.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — Kari-Lea Charlesworth was named the new Hudson’s Hope councillor following the by-election on July 29th and a judicial recount.

Chief Election Officer William Lindsay made the declaration Wednesday afternoon.

The recount was requested after candidates KK Charlesworth and Jeanette McDougall tied at 113 votes each.

Travous Quibell was declared the new mayor of Hudson’s Hope on Monday, July 31st.
