FORT ST. JOHN, B.C — A local doctor notified all her patients on Monday that she will be leaving and that her patients won’t be left without a doctor.

Dr. Huria Zafar’s letter to her patients said she is handing over her practice at the Fort St. John Family Practice Associates Clinic to Dr. Catherine Tao on October 27th.

Dr. Zafar wished all her patients “good health and best of luck in the future.”

“It has been my privilege to be your family doctor over the last two years, and I thank you for letting me be a part of your healthcare journey,” said Zafar.

Dr. Tao is joining that clinic after completing her residency.
