FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Local cowboy Jake Gardner placed first in bull riding at the Taber Spring Classic Pro Rodeo last weekend.
Gardner scored 84 points on Legend Rodeo’s 955 Table Top, earning himself $1,371.18. In steer wrestling, Gardner placed sixth with a score of 5.6, adding another $541.44 to his winnings.
In total, Gardner brought home $1,912.62.
The Taber Spring Classic Pro Roder kicked off at the Taber Agri-Plex from April 28th to 29th.
