FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A Fort St. John RCMP investigation is underway after shots were fired between two vehicles Tuesday evening.
Police received a report around 10 p.m. that several shots had been exchanged between vehicles in the 92nd Street area of the city.
No suspects were located when police attended, but two vehicles suspected of being involved were located abandoned and seized by police, said RCMP.
Several shell casings and firearms were reportedly also located and seized by officers.
“While no injuries have been reported, the risk to public safety is elevated when firearms are involved
, “said Staff Sargeant Scott Watson, Operations NCO Fort St John RCMP.
