FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Grass is being installed at the lot on 100th Street and 100th Avenue to restore the space to its previous state following last year’s 100th Street Corridor construction.
In 2022, the corridor contractor, Knappett Industries, used the area as a laydown yard, and the lot was left covered in gravel over the winter.
According to the City of Fort St. John, Knappett is now working to restore it back to grass, which was a requirement in the contract between the two parties.
The contractor will lay down the soil and seed, but the previous pathway and benches will not be returned, according to the city.
