UPDATE: North Taylor Hill open to traffic

UPDATE: The North Taylor Hill has been cleared, according to the RCMP.

UPDATE: According to Dawson Road Maintenance, the North Taylor hill is down to single-lane alternating traffic for light vehicles only for traffic moving Northbound. Southbound traffic is open to all vehicles.

TAYLOR, B.C. — A semi-truck and trailer spun out Monday morning, blocking traffic at the bottom of the North Taylor Hill on the Alaska Highway.

Energeticcity.ca reached out to the RCMP, who could not provide immediate comment.

We also contacted the Ministry of Transportation and are currently waiting for a response.

Updates are expected as the situation unfolds.
