FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – In conjunction with the opening of the Fort St. John Community Gardens, NEAT is hosting the next yard waste drop-off on May 21st, starting at 10 a.m. and going until 3 p.m.

The City of Fort St. John and NEAT will be accepting spring yard waste, leaves, branches, grass, mulch, trees and more.

A separate bin will be provided for black knot collection too.

NEAT would like to remind participants that they are not accepting dog poop, lumber, glass, garbage, food waste, paper bags, cement, rocks, plastics or chemicals.

The organization also mentioned that gardeners will be able to access their garden plots to start planting, but new users must register and pay before they begin.
