ROLLA, B.C. – The province says that remediation work has successfully reduced the sheen and odour at the hydrocarbon spill site in Rolla.
The province adds that some minor odour and rainbow sheen may persist for a few more days and that additional sampling to assess their efforts will also continue.
While the source of the spill is still unknown, an Environmental Emergency Response Officer (EERO) from the B.C. Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (ENV) monitors the situation.
The province says that no further updates are expected.
