FORT ST. JOHN, DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The International Education Department, the Northern Lights College Foundation and the NLC Marketing Department are holding a luncheon to share details about their Student Refugee Giving Campaign program.
The first one will be held in Dawson Creek on Tuesday, May 31st, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Centre for Clean Energy Technologies.
The second will be in the Fort St. John Northern Lights College Atrium on June 2nd from noon to 1 p.m.
The foundation would also like to share how the public can help, with their goal being to raise funds necessary to support the next intake of refugee students.
Lunch will be provided, and one student will share their story as an example of how the program impacts students’ lives, their families and the NLC community.
