B.C. Wildlife Federation’s Wild Kidz Camp is coming to both Dawson Creek and Charlie Lake in August.

The day camp will be held from Monday, August 15th to Friday, August 19th at the Dawson Creek Sportsman Club, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an early dismissal on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

In Charlie Lake, the camp will be from Monday, August 22nd to Friday, August 26th at the North Peace Rod & Gun Club, at the same times as the Dawson Creek sessions.

The club is for youth aged eight to seventeen and will teach them the importance of nature, fishing lessons, archery and other hands-on outdoor activities.

Since 2009, more than 500 kids have participated in the Wild Kidz camps.

The cost for the week is $250 for the public, but for BCWF members, it is $200.
