PEACE REGION, B.C. – A number of companies and organizations are celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend, May 7th to 8th.
The District of Taylor and the Taylor Fire Rescue invite residents to the Taylor Fire Hall for their annual mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 8th.
The brunch will be held from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M., and plates will only be $5 each, and mothers will receive free flowers while supplies last.
At the Pub & Local Market in Charlie Lake, they’re offering mimosas while patrons can browse the market made up of talented local vendors’ goods.
The market will run from 12 P.M. until 4 P.M., but the pub is open until 10 P.M.
NEAT is hosting a Mother’s Day plant sale & garden activities event on May 8th from 10 A.M. to noon, including flowers, storytime, gardening information, and more.

This year, the Mother’s Day Rotary Run and Scavenger Hunt are back in person after two years of modified events.
The Dawson Creek Art Gallery is hosting a Mother’s Day Tea at 2 P.M. on May 7th, including local author Doris Brocker with her book “Characters in the Garden.”
