FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John & District Sports Council is looking for new board members and will be voting at their annual general meeting on May 11th.
The council meets on the second Wednesday of every month, but on May 11th at 6 P.M., they are holding their annual general meeting.
The meeting will be held in the West Meeting Room at the Pomeroy Sports Centre and is open to all representatives from sports-related organizations.
In this meeting, they will review financial statements and annual reports, discuss where the Sports Council’s focus will be now that the restrictions are lifted, and hold a vote to elect Directors to serve on the board.
The council says that member organizations and individual members will be given a vote.
They say that all members were emailed a list and a nomination form, but these forms are for anyone interested in being part of the Board of Directors.
