TAYLOR, B.C. – The Daniels Park Playground replacement project in Taylor has finally commenced following previous delays.
The contract was awarded to Green Roots Play Equipment under the assumption that construction would be completed by October 15th, 2021.
Due to cooling temperatures outside, parks and facilities department were informed that the pour in place rubber-based material could not be poured.
Council stated that the project should have been further along by then, but supplier delays also put the project on hold.
In October 2021, they announced that the playground would be installed in April or May of 2022, weather permitting.
