FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the B.C. Peace.
The forecast calls for 10 to 20 cm of snow by Tuesday evening.
A weather system approaching from the Pacific will give heavier snow starting late Monday afternoon. Snow will gradually ease off Tuesday afternoon.
The highest snow accumulations are expected near the Rockies. For places like Hudson Hope, Chetwynd, and Tumbler Ridge, a total of 15 to 20 cm of snow will accumulate by Tuesday evening.
For Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, a total of 10 cm of snow will accumulate by Tuesday evening.
