FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Abbeyfield FSJ is hosting an open house to showcase the rooms available for independent seniors.
Abbeyfield offers seniors “a beautiful and secure environment for those who no longer wish to shoulder the burdens and responsibilities of maintaining a home, but still wish to maintain their independence,” according to their website.
There are 12 private rooms in the spacious home with a large kitchen area where the meals are cooked and available for use between mealtimes, and a library stocked frequently. They also offer cable, wi-fi and utilities in their units.
The open house will be hosted at their facility located at 8112 96th Ave on April 19th, starting at 6 p.m. and going until 7:30 p.m.
