FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A Fort St. John RCMP investigation is underway into shots fired at a home on 92A Street and 89th Avenue.

Police blocked off 87th Avenue to 91st Avenue on Tuesday around 1 p.m. after receiving reports of bullet holes at a residence in the area.

Officers believe it was a targeted incident and that multiple shots were fired at the home.

RCMP believes that shots were fired sometime between the early hours of April 4th to approximately 6:00 a.m. on April 5th.

Mounties say no one was at the residence when police arrived, and a property representative said no one was in the home when the shooting was believed to have occurred.

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and is asking anyone that has not already spoken to police in this matter or has home video surveillance footage in the area showing suspicious activity during the time in question, or anyone who may have heard or witnessed the incident occur, to contact the detachment at 250-787-8100.
