UPDATE: Due to poor weather conditions the dates of the road closure will change from April 3rd to April 7th to the new scheduled timeline of April 4th, 2022 to April 7th
DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Farrell Creek Bridge is scheduled for another road closure in order for the final girders to be installed on the structure.
Both lanes of the bridge will be closed between 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. from April 4th to April 7th.
Flatiron Construction will be erecting the final girders at the far East end of the bridge during this time.
An alternate route is expected to be available via Highway 97 from Chetwynd to Dawson Creek.
Motorists are advised to plan additional travel time.
