TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – After two years of cancellations, registration for the 2022 Emperor’s Challenge is expected to open for residents on June 7th.
In a post on Facebook, organizers said registration is dependent on a couple of factors.
“Registration for the 2022 Emperor’s Challenge will be June 7th, 2022, assuming no health orders to the contrary, and assuming we can get all the parts we need in place,” organizers said.
They add that many of the businesses they would work with during the event are either no longer in business or no longer offer the services the event needs.
“We are trying to make sure we can still run an excellent event. Details will be added as they come available,” organizers said.
The Emporer’s Challenge is a half marathon event that takes place at Babcock Mountain.
