DAWSON CREEK, B.C – The City of Dawson Creek is offering help with gravel removal this spring for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Residents who are physically unable to remove gravel and sand from the boulevard adjacent to their property can call City Hall at 250-784-3618 before April 18th, and they will send a volunteer to assist them.
The dispatch time depends on spring thaw conditions and the availability of the volunteers, according to the city.
Anyone interested in volunteering, contact City Hall by April 8th and receive an honorarium for every lot.
