FORT NELSON, B.C. – Northern Rockies RCMP is investigating an alleged theft of two horses at the Sikanni River Outfitters Ranch near Redfern Lake.

Police are asking for the public’s help finding the missing horses, Trigger and Two Socks, that are believed to be in Chetwynd or Fort St. John.

The mountain horses have no brands or ownership markings, mounties say.

The detachment says a suspect has been identified in the alleged theft.

Anyone with information regarding the location of the horses is asked to contact the Northern Rockies RCMP at 250-774-2700
